The Essence
A world shaped by intention.
Every material, line and ray of light contributes to the character of this place.
A sculptural but physically buildable future architecture of pale mineral stone and glass-like ceramic. Low- to medium-rise residential clusters, substantial multi-level urban complexes and occasional larger civic structures create a clear scale hierarchy. The city becomes monumental through extent, density and continuity — never through a conventional skyscraper skyline.
Vegetation is sparse and ecologically adapted to the saline environment. Small salt-tolerant plants and restrained green mineral zones appear near reliable water systems. Nature is present but never turns the salt basin into a lush landscape; the mineral geography remains dominant.
Pale mineral stone · salt-derived surfaces · translucent and frosted glass-like ceramic · warm natural stone · subtle brushed metal · limited warm wood in sheltered interiors. All materials show realistic construction, natural imperfections and restrained ageing. No polished fantasy-crystal architecture.
Golden hour / warm late-afternoon light is the default Whender lighting identity. Low sunlight travels across the salt basin, producing long shadows, warm mineral highlights, enormous water reflections and layered atmospheric depth toward the horizon.
The Great Mirror Axis; metropolitan districts extending for kilometres; enormous shallow mirror lakes; crystalline salt formations at human, architectural and geological scale; pale mineral and glass-like ceramic architecture; distant inhabited horizons; mountain ranges held far beyond the city.
