- social media account information when you connect Facebook or Instagram to WhenderOS;
- Facebook Page and Instagram professional account identifiers;
- permissions granted through Meta OAuth;
- publication identifiers and publication status;
- social media content that you choose to publish through WhenderOS;
- analytics and insights made available through Meta’s APIs;
- access tokens required to communicate with Meta services.
We only process information that is necessary to provide, secure and improve our services.
3. Facebook and Instagram integrations
WhenderOS can connect to Facebook and Instagram through Meta’s official APIs.
When you authorize WhenderOS, Meta may provide WhenderOS with access to information and permissions that you explicitly approve.
Depending on the features you use, this may include permission to:
- identify Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you manage;
- publish content to those accounts;
- retrieve publication status;
- retrieve permitted analytics and engagement information;
- manage authorized publishing workflows.
Whender Studios does not request access to personal Facebook or Instagram information that is not required for the functionality you choose to use.
4. Access tokens
Meta access tokens may be stored so WhenderOS can perform authorized actions on your behalf.
Where stored, these credentials are protected and are not intentionally exposed to website visitors or other unauthorized users.
Access tokens are used only for the functionality for which authorization was granted.
5. How we use information
We may use information to:
- provide and operate WhenderOS;
- authenticate connected accounts;
- publish content requested by the user;
- retrieve publication status and analytics;
- maintain application security;
- diagnose technical problems;
- improve our services;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use Meta account information for unrelated advertising purposes.
6. Legal basis
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal information based on one or more of the following grounds:

- compliance with legal obligations.

Facebook and Instagram functionality is provided through Meta Platforms and is also subject to Meta’s own privacy policies and terms.

Connected social media credentials and related account information may be removed when:
- an integration is disconnected;
- authorization is revoked;
- an account is deleted;
- a valid deletion request is received.
Certain technical logs, transaction records or backups may remain temporarily where necessary for security, legal or operational reasons.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
